WOW what a week! We had three baptisms on Saturday and man the spirit was so strong. Still on cloud 9 here. We had Teamani, a 9 yr old boy get baptized by bishop, Tearaitua, a 10 yr old girl got baptized by her newly reactivated dad, and Victorine, a 18 year old girl got baptized her uncle. The spirit in that room was overwhelming, all these new members worked so hard to get to that point. They all overcame lots of trials, and with lots of prayers, faith, and help from the AMAZING ward, they finally were able to make these covenants with the Lord.  What a wonderful magnificent day! :) the looks on their faces when they got out of the water is something I'll never forget. It's just the beginning, people! Other than that, we had a busy week, with 2 splits with soeur Homai and soeur Bastien, a picnic lesson with Victorine and her son and niece, painting nails with Victo and her neighbor, being surrounded by way too many cats during ...

Went shopping on Monday whooo! Bought me some over priced souvenirs and a pizza :) oh yeah We had 2 lessons with Timeri this week before she left for a Catholic month long retreat and man does Heavenly Father love her. We've been wanting to teach her the plan of salvation for months but every time we think about teaching it we just knew that she wasn't ready. We spent lots and lots of lessons talking about how to discern spiritual promptings and the role of the Spirit. Then one day we both thought about the plan of salvation for her at the same time and we were filled with joy and peace! We went to her house and man that was the best plan of salvation that I have ever taught! She was just eating it up and asking questions and saying "wow I never even knew it was like that" and "that's so wonderful". Near the end I testified of God's personal plan for her and I was so filled with love and the Spirit testifying of what we were explaining it brought...

Me and soeur Dias are total soccer moms. We just spent all day driving people to their new areas and moving luggage and shtuff... hahaha we had fun! I'm sticking around in Faa'a! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!! SOOOOOOOO very grateful for my dad! Oh man how I love him! Thanks for your example and for always making me laugh and for teaching me how to work hard and be myself and find the passion in life and to forget myself to find myself and to truly love God. You're totes the #BOMB.COM! We did a little church tour for Haimano, one of our amis and he was so nervous being in a big new building with 3 young single gals haha but he was so touched! He just kept saying wow this is really important stuff! Yeah Haimano! For pday we went to a burger place and I got the biggest juiciest burger. It was incredible. Tuesday we went to try to track down our 17 year old amis who's been avoiding us (haha can't hide from the missionaries forever!) and a gorgoeus moana-looking girl walked up to us and asked if she could take the lessons with us... BAH OUI!!! So we sit down and start talking and find out her name is esperance, she's a member but inactive and is 16 years old. Turns out her dad is in prison right now because he beat her and her sisters and mom so they called the police on him. She told us her whole story and wow. She had so many hard things in her life right now, SO MANY. But the most amazing part is that she's so strong and happy and loving! She seriously had a light radiating from her face! And she wants to meet with us so that she can come back to church and eventually serve a mission!!!! She came on Sunday and man I love her. What a example. Also happy happy day of birt...

Prophet + Tahiti = MAGIC

THE PROPHET FINALLY CAME TO TAHITI!!!!! It was the 175 anniversary of the church in Tahiti and the prophet came for the celebration and oh it was amazing!!!! We got on the bus at 2pm, got there at 3, it started at 5, ended at 9, didn't get home until 11 haha.  They had a cultural hour at the beginning, and the missionaries started it off! We lined up and sang Onward Christian Soldiers and our mission's song, Called to Serve with changed lyrics for Tahiti right in front of the prophet! Closest I've ever been to him! He waved and was so sweet and happy. Then we watched super awesome Tahitian dances and songs. After an hour break with I spent with this DARLING old mamie whose maybe 4' eating sandwiches and chocolate, the Gong's, and the prophet and his wife spoke! It was just wonderful. Sister Nelson talked about sacrificing more fpr the Lord and that that brings us more blessings and less stress. The prophet talked about how our bodies are miracles, how we need to...
