Soeur Isaacson's Mission

Yoooooo I had so much fun this week! We were all over the place and I'm pretty sure I biked 20 miles everyday, even though my sector is maybe 1 mile long... We had a family home evening with TONS of amis at an awesome member's house. I loved it so much, we played games and had spiritual message  and ate food and everyone loved the cookies we made #startingtahiticookieshop #gonnamakemillions Memebers are SO key to helping the amis! Also this week I witnessed a chicken get run over by a car. Wasn't pretty. Feathers. Everywhere. So one day we were doing our studies at the beach and a teenage couple came and sat a little ways away from us and started making out and we were silently freaking out #missionarylife so we started quietly singing hymns and these people on the opposite side of us literally started singing along! "When you have Dinosaur hunting at 10 but Protestant mass at 11" Hello y'all, that basically explains my whole week... ok not really mais bref. I got a new comp this week and I love her!!!!! Sr Anderson is from Washington and loves Tangled and Lord of the Rings and is very dramatic but in a funny way and teaches power lessons. And she's gorgeous.  This was my favorite quote from her this week. Elder Jeppson our District leader was showing us his fabulous hats that were Jurassic enough to go dino hunting but fabulous enough to wear for the Protestant mass (people get just a little decked out here).  Happy Valentines Day!!! OK seriously let's just talk about the temple for a second. I got to go with Sr Bready for her last week and wow. The changes they made are incredible! So beautiful! I was so touched, I know that the temple is literally the Lord's house and He's directing His prophets and man He loves His children! Everyone- go to the temple this week!!! This week we had a fireside given by the missionaries in the stake and it was awesome! It was all in Tahitian, themed on the Living Christ. we sang and watched Mormon messages and had members share testimonies and read quotes from the Living Christ. And I gave the closing prayer in Tahtitian #killedit #giftoftongues We had lots of members, a good number of inactive members and a few amis come! Not a ton but numbers are not the point!  Afterward we went to a faatamaaraa and they asked me to pray in Tahitian cuz they thought I did a really good job haha. Sup ma peeps! This week was lit dawg!  Ok we're done sorry y'all. Me an elders Jeppson and Hancock taught Soeur Yezli some English slang phrases this week, that was a party. Story to explain the subject- We had a visit with a VERY inactive member  Mona and we spent 45 minutes trying to share a message and invite him to read the book of Mormon and come to church but every time we said ANYTHING about the gospel he'd interrupt and go on a big rant and say "oh yes, I believe that, that's so important. I tell all the youth and missionaries to do that. There are so many of you young people that serve missions them get home and many a nonmember (his wife is catholic) and then goes inactive and that is not good at all, they shouldn't do that you need to all stay active and go to the temple..."  Our conversation at the end:  "hey will you come to church this Sunday?"
