I'm Home. Tahiti.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH H.  Tahiti. That's it. I LOVE TAHITI SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!!!  IT'S LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES ON EARTH!!!! It's SO Pretty!!!!!! My zone is literally just a road that starts at the base and goes up into the mountain. My constant backdrop is GORGEOUS green mountains with a waterfall way off in the distance. We ride our bikes up and down with jungles and shacks and fruit trees all around and I'm just in awe.  It's just so pretty here and the food is awesome, the fish doesn't even taste like fish IT'S WAY BETTER and there are flowers everywhere. every tree has either fruit or flowers on it. It is INSANELY HOT THOUGH.  You kind of just always sweat. Also I have at least 125 mosquito bites on my legs. ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE, PEOPLE. Mamis literally run over to me and freak out and touch my legs and tell me to put sugar on them and stuff haha. It's so cute and fu...

Made it to Tahiti and I love it so so so much! Write you on Monday, love you all millions! Soeur Isaacson (happiest soeur on earth!) DAD COMMENTARY: Shaus just sent off a quick email to let us know that she's there. We also got a chance to talk with her while she was at the airport. It was wonderful!

Heel-clicking and Leafi

IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN ME ON SUNDAY. I was heel clicking and giggling and hotcocoa drinking and taking pics every 12 seconds. Good day.        I am SSOOOOOOO ready for Tahiti!!!!! I leave Monday at 6:15 and I can't wait!!!!!!! We had a chocolate tasting with the sisters and my bars of single origin chocolate (ask my father for more info) and it was a party.  SHOUTOUT TO MY FATHER AND MOTHER FOR SENDING ME A RITUAL CHOCOLATE SHIRT AND BAR AND HOMEMADE CHEXMIX!!!!!!!!!!! LITERALLY CRIED. Good day. Also I named my succulent my parents sent me. It's name is.... Leafi . (like Nephi but... a plant) I couldn't stop laughing for 10 minutes straight. Thanks parentals. The language has been hard, but I've learned so much about relying on Christ and letting Him help you.   Absolutely love this hymn, inspired me this week! Press Forward Saints 1. Press forward, Saints, with steadfast faith in Chr...

10 MORE DAYS UNTIL I GO TO TE FITI  - I MEAN TAHITI!!!!!!!  Whose counting down? I'm not counting down whaaaaaaa....... This week has been hard and amazing and busy and good and all the things. I leave on the 19th and I cannot wait!!!! We taught a cute old brother that served in Tahiti  and I loved it! I might have only known what he was saying because he was acting out half of everything and translating the other half into french BUT that's beside the point! The spirit is DEFINITELY a universal language! I didn't need to understand what he, or my comp or I was saying to understand the the Spirit was present. We found out Soeur Brown does yoga and is boss. So now she's our cool yoga instructor and we do yoga on a little loft thing above the volleyball courts inside. So if one was to look up at said loft you'd see a yoga samurai doing hand stands and twisting like pretzel cobra and then me doing... not that... and maybe falling on face... tw...

Iaorana!!!!!!!!  Can I just say I loooooooove Tahitian!!!!  Fave words:  haamahanahana (enlighten)  nehenehe (can/beautiful)  haamaruuru (to thank)  faaamu (to feed)  faahaamana'oraa (reminder)  it's so weird and hard but I LOVE IT! Absolutely beautiful and fun and genius! We taught Tahitian members and RMs (TRC) on the SECOND DAY of Tahitian and it was awesome! That would've freaked out my pre-mission self but now I was just excited to get thrown in the deep end right off the bat. We literally just read phrases off our paper (after kind of learning how to pray and the pronunciation of words) and said maitai (good) to everything. It really helped because I'm a lot less scared to teach my teachers and learn Tahitian in general. It's super backwards and like caveman talk but SO beautiful and really humbling and mind blowing. Love learning about other cultures and their ways.  I loved this Halloween! My mom sen...
