So... I got transferred... TO THE ONE AND ONLY BORA BORA!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally thought it was a joke when they called us cuz Bora has been closed for almost a year and it's been years since sisters have been there but Soeur Kehl with soeur Chin Ay You and soeur Rammach with me are going to open BORA BORA. WWAAAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!! Taking the plane tonight!!!! And also it's my last transfer so I'm finishing my mission there!!! Aaaaanyway, said bye to the wonderful Papeari this week. We taught the cutest mami this week named Henriette who is not always conscious but her daughter who is a member wanted to try the lessons. She speaks hardly any French so we did it all in Tahitian next to her bed. The first lesson we just talked about Christ since she's Catholic. She was in and out and had a hard time understanding but at the end I just said, "mami, ua here Iesu ia oe" (mami, Jesus loves you) and she just stopped and a little smile spread across her face ...

If you're happy and you know it write your weekly email to your peeps!

SSSOOOOO our ami that had a fight with his girlfriend prayed and fasted and decided that he's getting baptized. Whether that means they get married or break up, he doesn't care but BAPTISM. AAAAAANNNDDD it turns out that his girlfriend decided the same thing while they weren't talking for like 3 days. SO when they finally started talking they made up and are POWER together now and they are happier than I've ever seen them since I got here! This time we could FEEL their conversion and their determination to follow Christ. YAY finally!!! God works miracles people!!!! Also during our last lesson with them we were outside right next to the beach in the shade with a slight breeze, and he walks over and hands us coconuts he just chopped open. low key soeur Kehl and I were thinking at the same time "welp, we're in paradise. Preaching the gospel in the garden of Eden hoa" so that's fun. For pday we went to Papeete, the capital, and I ...

Last time, on the soeur Isaacson show! Tuesday: One of our amis who had a baptismal date had a huge fight with his girlfriend and left the house to give up on the lessons and go drink and smoke with his friends but he said the Lord led him instead to the church where he sat outside and called us. We went over there and saw him crying and i was like "oh no, we can't really comfort him or anything, what do we do???" and then soeur Kehl remembered that the elders just "happened" to be at our church building so we brought them over and they talked with our ami and gave him a blessing. He is amazing! He had a huge trial but he chose the Lord!!!! YAAAYYY!!!! Sorry for him but I was sooo happy he chose the right way!!!! Wednesday: We helped a cute little mami in her garden and she gave us breadfruit Thursday: Missionary leadership conference! Had my sistas and my bro there! Super powerful as always. Friday:  Fasted with our ami (he asked if we could) an...

For Pday last week we took the bus to the other side of the community to go to a "monoi bar" which is where you design your own scented suntanning/ hair nourishing, moisturizing, natural health care, beauty oil that all Tahitians use every. day. The traditional monoi is made from fermented coconuts, or shell fish/ shrimp with tiare flowers but here they use all sorts of fruits and woods and flowers to make heaven in your nose. (what a lovely expression that is...) I made one with a pineapple oil base, with papaya, tipanier-type flower, and vanilla oils... mmmmmm heaven in your nose. Then during a split we tried teaching 2 boys the plan of salvation outside but then their friends came over and let's just say the celestial kingdom and the spirit world became eye masks and the earth and telestial kingdom became "wacking your brother" utensils and we never finished the lesson... but we did draw pictures of the plan and a 4 year old boy kept the pics an...
