THERE CAN BE MIRACLES when you belieeeeeevvvveee
What an amazing week!
Most importantly, our dear dear ami Papi Hiti GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!! We've been visiting him for 4.5 months now and after 2 baptism tries that fell through, lots of prayers and fasting and all the help from our members, he was finally ready to make this covenant with the Lord. His baptism was beautiful. The week before his baptism we weren't sure if he was going to be ready but the Spirit does wonderful things. I can really seeing the Spirit change HIM. Not just his actions or habits, but his character, his countenance. After his baptism he was radiant and he was so humbled and joyful. He just kept saying thank you and how happy he was. Thank Heavenly Father for this work!
During the week we had a multi zone conference and my zone bought matching fabric to make ties and dresses. But there was NO ONE available to make our dresses in our ward so we HAND-SEWED our own dresses the night before and the morning of LOL!!! It was so ghetto and not pretty stitching but hey I made a dress so that's cool.
Also our fridge (and stomachs) are STUFFED TO THE RAFTERS because everyone keeps giving us food this week!!! Idk what it is but we've received food in almost every visit we make. Star fruit, mangoes, crepes, banana crepes, cookies, juice, full on lunch, tarts, etc. We are so insanely blessed. Papi Hiti and his friend Sebastian bought us a whole feast (20ish tarts, soda, juice, 2 boxes of cookies) for after his lesson. Gotta keep those crunches up!

Thursday afternoon the power went out in the church and we thought it was just the church but turns out it was ALL OF TAHITI. There was a fire in the power center and no one had power until 7pm at night. All the missionaries had to go home at 6ish so we sat with candles eating star fruit and cookies with the other sisters till it came back on. #party
Remember that the Spirit is there to guide you. As we follow the Spirit and search to improve our ability to listen, our lives will be filled with minuscule miracles everyday. What joy!
Love y'all,
Soeur Isaacson
