I love my mission.
Oh man what did I even do this week idk.
The sisters in our house were both sick this week so we went to a faatamaaraa for them and let's just say i love Tahitian mamies!! We get there (after her insisting that us to come even though she doesn't know us at all) and she's yelling at all her many cats and her dog to "allez derrière" and "haere" like all the Tahitian gmas then gives us sloppy bisous and has us sit down. We start eating from a HUGE pot of rice and chicken stir-fry soup stuff and find out that she practices "cellular energy science" and meditation and reincarnation and who knows what else. And that animals are smarter and more loving that humans. And she went on a 30 minute story talking about how she tried to save a cat that got knocked off a fence but it died so she took it home and buried it in the front yard. Haha that was a fun dinner.
Other than that things are going great. We had some really powerful lessons this week. We talked to the wife of our ward mission leader whose not a member and doesn't like the missionaries and she was really nice! We talked for a long time and she was super open and happy! Gonna keep working with her :) We also FINALLY had a lesson with a member's husband who was not at all interested but we surprised him Sunday with a visit from the sister missionaries! He didn't accept to take the lessons (yet...) but he accepted to think about it and pray with his wife and he was really touched by our testimonies. On verra. :)
Ok bonne semaine, faaitoito, remember that God knows you perfectly, including exactly what to do to help you grow and fulfill all your desires. Let Him help you :)
