Heaven in your nose... and in your heart of course :)

For Pday last week we took the bus to the other side of the community to go to a "monoi bar" which is where you design your own scented suntanning/ hair nourishing, moisturizing, natural health care, beauty oil that all Tahitians use every. day. The traditional monoi is made from fermented coconuts, or shell fish/ shrimp with tiare flowers but here they use all sorts of fruits and woods and flowers to make heaven in your nose. (what a lovely expression that is...) I made one with a pineapple oil base, with papaya, tipanier-type flower, and vanilla oils... mmmmmm heaven in your nose.

Then during a split we tried teaching 2 boys the plan of salvation outside but then their friends came over and let's just say the celestial kingdom and the spirit world became eye masks and the earth and telestial kingdom became "wacking your brother" utensils and we never finished the lesson... but we did draw pictures of the plan and a 4 year old boy kept the pics and was the happiest little critter I've ever seen. I love how innocent and joyful kids are :)

Also Book of Mormon miracle!!! 2 weeks ago we spent a lesson with our mami ami Tearai, who is wonderful, talking about the BofM and invited her to REALLY read every morning to be less stressed and more happy and she did it and it worked! We went to the lesson and she had so much light in her face and she testified of the truthfulness of the book. You can see the change in people when we read EVERY DAY!!!

Also our ami Cecilia hasn't been to church in 3 years and we've been begging her to come back for months and SHE FINALLY CAME THIS WEEK! Her and her sweetie Girard and their kids were all there and they were the closest together and the happiest and most unifies that we've ever seen them. They're preparing to get baptized!!!

Last little miracle... soeur Aagard and I were talking a lot about smoothies during a split we did together and how much we wanted one and then guess what the RS activity was that night that we were invited to??? that's right, smoothie bar! We drank maybe 7 smoothies and they. were. so. good. Best smoothies I've ever had with ALL the tropical fruit you can think of. Heavenly Father listens to His kids, even the little stuff haha :)

Love it here, it's hard and the Lord is pushing me from 50 miles an hour to 107 on the freeway of personal growth and inward change, but He's right next to me while doing it :) I know we're all on the path that can lead to eternal life if we take it and we don't stop running until we get to the finish. The Lord has incredible things in store for us. He loves us :)
